One of our favorite agency mantras is “work that works” – and our work worked really well in 2017 with head-turning projects for a variety of clients that received national and international attention.

That’s more than a feeling within the agency walls. It was brought home Thursday night as OH Partners flexed its creative muscle at the 2018 ADDY awards. We landed 40 ADDYs for work with seven different clients, received a coveted Judge’s Choice award and earned Advertising Person of the Year recognition for Scott Harkey, president of OH Partners.
The 40 awards were the most for an Arizona agency. OH also proudly landed finalists for Young Person of the Year, Creative Professional of the Year and Women in Excellence. And nine of our winners now roll on to compete regionally or nationally.

The ADDYs honored our work with clients including Sedona, the Arizona Lottery, Gila River Hotels & Casinos, “Woz U” with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, the Arizona Department of Health Services, and the agency itself.

We are fortunate to share big ideas, bold thoughts, rough sketches and plenty of ink, words, videos, plans, strategies, briefs and final files with a great collection of client partners. Our award-winning work captured Wozniak’s goal to change higher education the way he helped change personal computing. Our work introduced hidden gems around Sedona, and the way hotels and casinos can release your inner self, and helped bring a longtime state agency mascot to life to help jolt the brand.

Here’s a link to the final results to see the wins by OH Partners and all the other Arizona entities making the state proud and showing that the creative and marketing force is alive and well in the 48th state.
Thursday night was a defining moment for this agency. We knew that as 50 of us enjoyed the awards and the nice words in the gala at the Phoenix Art Museum. But by Friday afternoon, we honestly were even more excited about our work that’s still to come.
